Neuroscience student and researcher, Stony Brook University

I study how new neurons are made in the adult brain. In Dr. Shaoyu Ge’s lab I work on neurogenesis in the dentate gyrus and help design a microfluidic pump for delivering drugs into cerebrospinal fluid. Before that I reviewed rehabilitation outcomes for patients with brain metastases with Lenox Hill Hospital’s neurosurgery department, and worked on a protein purification project in Stony Brook’s pharmacology department.
